Cancer Social Prescribing
What we do
Practical, non-clinical support for anyone living with or after cancer, and for carers. Typical help includes benefits and employment advice, transport, fatigue-management courses, local support groups and help returning to activity. Local hospital teams also refer people awaiting or after diagnosis to social prescribing for extra support.
Who it is for
People at any stage of the cancer pathway, plus families and carers. Nationally, Macmillan provides information and a free support line on 0808 808 00 00.
